Take I-66 West (exit 9 from points north, exit 9A
from points south).Take exit 53 to Route 28 North (Sully Road).Take Westfields Boulevard East.Make the second right onto Newbrook Drive. Parking lot is on your right.
From Dulles Airport:
Take the Dulles Toll Road towards Washington D.C.
Follow the exit for Route 28 South (Sully Road).
After 3 stop lights you will cross over Route 50.
Take Westfields Boulevard East.Take the 2nd right onto Newbrook Drive.Quest Diagnostics is located on the corner of Westfields Blvd and Newbrook Drive.
Take the 1st right into the parking lot.
Industry Partner Donors for Anuual Meeting
In an effort to emphasize education to our members,we are offering our Industry Partners the opportunity submit materials and give aways for the bags we are putting together for all attendees. The donation fee for this is $50. You will also need to register as an attendee either as a member or non-member. If you are unclear about how to register please contact me at jwbalk@comcast.net. I am currently out of the office and will return on 11/3 but have periodic access to email.

New Industry Partner Program Announced
The Chapter is pleased to announce a new program for our Industry Partners that will have multiple ways for participation. A special luncheon was held on March 18th at St. Francis Medical Center in Midlothian, VA to share the program with our partners. The communications team composed of Debra Burkhead,Brenda Diffendal and Johnetta Balk are pleased to announce a special project endorsed by our BOD to benefit our scholarship fund. We are featuring a white cotton T-shirt that can be purchased to wear during your lab special activities or as you enjoy your leisure time. What a great way to show support for our profession and also add to the scholarship fund!
We were able to secure the support of ARUP Lab, Flex-7 Courier Logistic Services and Sysmex to offset most of the cost of procuring the shirts. Please let these folks know how much we appreciate their support
